Operation Colossus is now underway in Whitehaven. Two drivers have been arrested for drug driving, both are now in custody. Another vehicle has been seized for having no insurance. Officers have been carrying out multiple spot checks and speed checks across the area. Inspector Alex Johnson said: “This operation targets the issues our communities have told us matter most, from dangerous driving to the anti-social use of vehicles.” Over the next 15 weeks, Cumbria Police will continue taking action
